Review of the Visit

Relaxing Atmosphere: ★★★★☆

Although it is the complete opposite of being surrounded by nature, LaQua is located in the heart of the metropolis, in Korakuen and Suidobashi, surrounded by Tokyo Dome, a huge hotel, and an amusement park. This location, being part of a famous leisure facility in central Tokyo, offers a non-daily experience (if it were just surrounded by buildings, it wouldn’t feel special, but seeing the roller coaster adds to the non-daily feel). Despite this, the outdoor bath area inside is well-designed, enhancing the non-daily experience.

Quality of the Hot Spring: ★★★★★

It’s a proper hot spring! This might be a matter of personal preference, but I really liked the yellowish-brown water quality and scent. LaQua’s hot spring is a sodium-chloride strong saline spring, which warms you from the core. You can enjoy various types of hot springs, such as outdoor baths and carbonated springs.

Various Baths Experiences: ★★★★☆

Don’t underestimate it just because it’s in the city center; there are a decent number of bath types available. Moreover, each bath is quite large, allowing you to enjoy a very open feeling. LaQua offers a variety of baths, including outdoor baths, carbonated springs, silk baths, and jet baths.

Facility Completeness: ★★★★☆

The facility is very clean. The reclining seat zone is stylish, and the people there seem to have a certain elegance (or so it feels). It’s very comfortable.

Food: ★★★☆☆

Considering the price, the steak I ordered didn’t taste as good as I expected…

Overall Rating: 4.05/5

Initially, I thought it wouldn’t make sense to give a high score to such a well-known public bath, but when I rated it fairly, it scored higher than I imagined. Whether it will be high rating or not would depend on whether you like the location in the city center and the water quality, and whether you can tolerate the food and prices. However, it’s a safe bet for taking tourists or friends. It’s definitely a reliable place, also suitable for Tokyo sightseeing.
