In this category, I usually review Tokyo/Japan super-sento (hot spring) instead of reviewing super sento (public bathhouses), I will share my travel experiences to provide tips for those considering travel. Of course, this blog is mainly hot spring/super-sento review, so I allocate 10% to bath experience.
I will try to keep the evaluation format as consistent as possible.
Everyone enjoys travel differently, but for the sake of this review, I will evaluate based on traveling with my family, including my elementary school-aged son. I will rate the following five categories, each out of 5 points, based on my subjective opinion.
-
- Memorable Extraordinary Experience (Weight: 30%) Since we are spending time and money on travel, I judge based on how much I want to see those unique views and atmospheres again, which we can’t see while living in Tokyo city.
-
- Activity Fulfillment (Weight: 30%) I decide based on how much I feel like I had a rare and memorable experience. This can include facilities within the hotel or nearby sightseeing spots.
-
- Hot Springs/Baths (Weight: 10%) Since this channel focuses on baths, I will also evaluate the bath experience, regardless of whether it is a hot spring or not.
-
- Facility Fulfillment (Weight: 15%) I evaluate the cleanliness of the facilities and whether there are any interesting amenities.
-
- Food (Weight: 15%) Food is important, right? I will also evaluate this. Although there may be delicious restaurants nearby, I will judge based on the meals provided by the accommodation.
