  • “The interior and baths are new and clean, and the design of the space is wonderful. The hot spring bath is very spacious, the temperature is just right, and it was comfortable to use.”
  • “The hot springs and sauna are excellent. The water droplets on the locker room floor are a bit concerning, but overall, I recommend it.”
  • “The facility is clean and new, and they use high-quality body soap and shampoo with a pleasant fragrance, which you don’t find elsewhere. However, the menu at the dining area is limited and expensive.”
  • “A city hot spring where you can go empty-handed! I decided to visit after work. The facility is very clean, and the staff at the reception were very polite in explaining everything.”
  • “You can’t see the Ariake scenery from the hot spring, but the sauna is extremely hot! With the auto löyly, you can sweat profusely in 3-4 minutes on the top tier.”

Review after visiting

Relaxing Atmosphere: ★★★☆☆

Izumi Tenku no Yu is in Large commercial complex Ariake Garden, which includes a hotel, a Shiki Theatre Company musical hall, and three high-rise apartment buildings. Whether you feel a sense of escape depends on the individual. For tourists, especially those who visit Japan from overseas, it should be interesting. However, due to the surrounding high buildings, the open-air bath doesn’t provide much of an outdoor feel. In short, everything is new, modern, and it feels like good facility.

Quality of the Hot Spring: ★★★☆☆

The hot spring has a sufficient hot spring feel. It has the unique metallic smell characteristic of hot springs, and the water is colored, warming your body!

Various Baths Experiences: ★★★☆☆

3/5 Izumi Tenku no Yu has many baths, offering more than enough enjoyment. Here is a list of the baths in the men’s section:

  • Micro buble bath
  • Jet bath
  • Natural hot spring open-air bath
  • Lying-down bath (also outside like the open-air bath)

Facility Completeness: ★★★★☆

As expected from Ariake Garden, Hotel Villa Fontaine, and Sumitomo Realty & Development, the cleanliness is quite impressive. The relaxation area has colorful yellow and orange tiered seating and a space with relaxation chairs, allowing you to be relaxed. Although there are no comics, my son was lying down playing games the whole time.

Food: ★☆☆☆☆

Some people might disagree, but my only disappointment is that despite the high quality of the facility and the relatively high prices, the food is not particularly delicious or memorable. I’ve been here three times, and the first time I ate at the facility and was disappointed. The second time, I felt it was not bad but just average. The third time, I ate at the food court in Ariake Garden and was very satisfied. The ramen at Kageyama is delicious, and my son enjoyed steak and curry at Denver Premium. Therefore, I recommend eating at the other restaurants in Ariake Garden, which offer a variety of delicious options

Overall Rating: 3.00/5

This is certainly a high score! That’s why I keep coming back. However, it is also true that the prices are relatively high, and the open-air bath and food could be improved. Therefore:

If I have friends visiting from overseas, I might take them here as a safe/good enough option.

It is better to eat at other restaurants in Ariake Garden.

It is recommended for those who have plans in the Ariake Garden or Odaiba area.

For tourists, both Japanese and those visiting from abroad, it is close to Haneda Airport
